Join as a Senior Irrigation Technician at Heroes Lawn Care in The Woodlands, TX, US. Provide installation, repair, maintenance, and upgrade services for irrigation systems to both residential and commercial clients. Responsibilities include installing, inspecting, optimizing, troubleshooting, repairing, and upgrading irrigation systems. Identify potential issues, offer solutions, and ensure problems are resolved satisfactorily. Be the go-to expert for all irrigation system needs for our valued clients.
Compensation:$16 - $28 hourly
Responsibilities:- Independently and collaboratively work on all irrigation installations, repairs, and upgrades as required.
- Provide on-site estimates and present them to customers effectively.
- Perform service calls, conduct irrigation system checks, and carry out the necessary work.
- Install and troubleshoot smart irrigation controllers, ensuring optimal water coverage in all zones.
- Educate both residential and commercial clients on system usage professionally and courteously.
- Establish and nurture trust and positive relationships with customers, colleagues, and vendors.
- Adhere to daily warehouse and equipment maintenance and cleaning standards.
- Demonstrate expertise in maintaining and repairing irrigation systems and related components.
- Conduct seasonal maintenance for irrigation systems during turn-on and winterization.
- Acquire knowledge of other departments to offer support when needed.
- Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a secure work environment.
- 1-3 years of relevant work experience in irrigation and its associated principles and practices are required for this position.
- Proficient in utilizing tools, devices, methods, skills, components, and mechanics specific to irrigation systems.
- Capable of operating equipment like trenching machines and digging tools related to grounds and landscaping is essential.
- Strong emphasis on professionalism, teamwork, and communication skills.
- Completion of company-sponsored training programs to enhance knowledge and skills is expected.
- Prior experience in landscaping would be advantageous for this role.
