SUMMARY

As a Senior Copywriter, you will play a crucial role in developing compelling and engaging content across various platforms. Your primary responsibility will be to craft high-quality copy that effectively communicates our brand's message and resonates with our target audience. You will collaborate closely with other members of the creative team, including designers, marketers, and strategists, to ensure consistency and coherence in our messaging across all channels.

KNOWLEDGE, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS REQUIRED

Technical Knowledge, Years of Related Experience, Skills, Licenses, and Systems Experience

  1. Experience: Minimum of 15 years of experience in copywriting, with a strong portfolio showcasing a variety of writing samples across different formats and industries. Experience in advertising, marketing, or a related field is preferred.
  2. Exceptional Writing Skills: Demonstrated ability to write clear, compelling, and persuasive copy that captivates audiences and drives action. Strong command of grammar, spelling, and punctuation.
  3. Creative Thinking: Ability to think creatively and develop innovative ideas that push boundaries while staying true to the brand's identity and objectives.
  4. Attention to Detail: Meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work, with a keen eye for grammar, punctuation, and consistency.
  5. Collaborative Spirit: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and thrive in a collaborative environment.
  6. Adaptability: Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines, with the ability to work efficiently under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  7. Digital Savvy: Proficiency in digital tools and platforms commonly used in content creation and marketing, such as content management systems (CMS), and social media management tools.
  8. Bachelor's Degree: Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Communications, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.

TRAINING REQUIRED

Participate in additional training on sales, technology, products, procedures and pricing on an ongoing basis. Participate in sales leadership and FAQ calls. Complete annual training as required by company policy and law on an annual basis in a timely manner.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Content Creation: Produce clear, concise, and engaging copy for a wide range of mediums, including but not limited to website copy, social media content, email campaigns, advertising materials, product descriptions, and blog posts.

Brand Voice Development: Work closely with the creative team and marketing department to develop and maintain our brand voice and tone guidelines. Ensure that all copy aligns with the brand's personality and values while maintaining consistency across all communication channels.

Concept Development: Collaborate with designers and other creatives to develop concepts and ideas for campaigns and projects. Translate creative briefs and marketing objectives into compelling copy that drives engagement and meets business goals.

Research: Conduct thorough research on industry trends, competitor activities, and target audience preferences to inform content strategy and ensure messaging is relevant and resonant.

Editing: Review and edit copy for clarity, consistency, accuracy, grammar, and punctuation. Ensure all content is error-free and meets quality standards before publication.

Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, design, product development, and sales, to brainstorm ideas, provide input, and contribute to overall creative strategy.

Project Management: Manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks effectively, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Coordinate with stakeholders to gather necessary information and feedback to inform copywriting decisions.

SPECIFIC ACTIVITIES

Attend and participate in all Monthly Awards Ceremonies, Corporate Gatherings (including travelling to headquarters quarterly) , Sales Calls & Training Events. Read all newsletters and bulletins to remain current on corporate policies, procedures, and developments.
