Assistant Engineer/ Engineer for Integration Department

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

Act as a subject matter expert for data collection and analysis for abnormal production output.

- Daily download and process data from MES.

- Organize and process data and perform analysis.

- Compile analysis results to generate MDI reports (equipment utilization rate, top six losses of bottleneck stations, equipment cycle time fluctuation exceeding 3%, material change time fluctuation exceeding standards).

- Provide feedback on established work hours and bottleneck optimization projects.

- Provide production capacity, KPI review, and actual loss data during planned production stoppages.

Continuous optimization of production capacity.

- Measure and statistically record instantaneous cycle times on-site.

- Identify and track the causes of bottlenecks and analyze the effect of implemented countermeasures.

- Collaborate to identify and optimize work hour losses.

- Follow up on the execution of equipment technical improvements.

- Conduct monthly training for production supervisors and central control room scheduling.

Coordination of headquarters data reporting.

- Summarize and translate daily, weekly, and monthly report data along with other relevant interfacility communication.

- Participate in weekly and bi-weekly meetings, and distribute meeting summaries to the relevant parties.

Provision of monthly performance data for production-related functional departments.

- Provide monthly outputs to relevant responsible parties and HR based on data obtained through the equipment self-statistical system in the established performance data.

Requirements & Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in engineering, manufacturing, or a STEM-related field.

Experience (1-3 years) in a high-speed assembly line/manufacturing environment.

Experience troubleshooting complex machinery/robotics applications.

Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.

Proactive detail oriented.

Effective communication and interpersonal skills,

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, with working knowledge of Project and Visio.

Six Sigma certification is a plus.

Bilingual Chinese/English is a plus.
