Position Summary:

AAA, United States, Inc. has partnered with a company in Mobile, Alabama that performs maintenance, repair and overhaul to large commercial aircraft. We are looking for experienced Avionics Technician who are seeking their next opportunity in a complex and ever-changing work environment


Essential Functions:

  • Perform routine maintenance on avionics such as aircraft navigation systems, radar, in-flight entertainment systems (IFE), radio, etc.
  • Perform diagnostic and troubleshooting procedures on aircraft systems
  • Communicate with other maintenance personnel regarding action plans
  • Perform aircraft preventative maintenance and unscheduled repairs
  • Develop, maintain, and repair aircraft avionics and navigation systems
  • Communicate with mechanics and avionics technicians to troubleshoot non-avionics and engine-related issues
  • Assist and oversee aircraft pre-delivery inspections
  • Perform aircraft taxi inspections
  • Communicate with mechanics to get necessary approvals for scheduled maintenance
  • Perform other related duties as assigned
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • 2+ years of related aerospace experience
  • Knowledge of aircraft avionics systems
  • Ability to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain aircraft avionics systems
  • Ability to troubleshoot and repair electrical systems
