JOB SUMMARY AND DUTIES:
- Answer and direct telephone calls
- Read, print, sort, deliver, pick up, and respond to emailed court orders and questions addressed to judges in the Fifth Municipal District
- Assist litigants as needed, including assistance with remote court access (Zoom)
- Perform general clerical duties, including filing, typing, and inputting data, retrieving and delivery of mail, and other duties as directed by the Presiding Judge/designee.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- High school graduate or G.E.D. equivalent.
- Basic knowledge of court procedures and legal terminology.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel program and excellent typing skills (45 wpm).
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Ability to work and interact with legal and non-legal personnel as part of a team.
- On a continuous basis, sit at a desk for long periods of time in front of a computer screen
- Intermittently twist to reach equipment or supplies surrounding desk
- Perform simple grasping and fine manipulation
- Strength to lift files weighing up to 20 pounds
