Lewis Builders, a Design + Build firm located in Carmel, CA, is looking for a Material Handler to join our team. The Material Handler must be at least 25-years, have a good driving record, and be able to lift 50 lbs.


MISSION

The mission of the Materials Handler is to efficiently support the Lewis Builders team by streamlining material processing and management for maximum efficiency, cost savings, and customer service. The Material Handler supports the Project Leaders and the Design and Logistics Coordinator with safe movement of product to and from job sites, receiving locations, and storage yards.


OUTCOMES

  1. All company storage sites and yards are neatly organized, stocked, and have clear shipping and receiving processes.
  2. Maintain accountability for material once turned over until final delivery to the job site. 
  3. Know where all company vehicles and equipment are located and manage new acquisitions, maintenance, and repairs in a timely manner.
  4. Standardize 6S on job sites, from initial mobilization to demobilization, including safety and supply stations and material storage.
