Manager of Credentialing

The Credentialing Manager is responsible for managing a team that partners with medical providers, hospitals, insurance companies, operations leaders and other stakeholders to ensure clinicians are credentialed. This position develops and manages credentialing standards, best practices, and tools; and oversees all aspects of hospital and financial credentialing.
Essential Duties:
- Train, develop, and assist employees in their essential duties
- Manage employee performance using clear expectations, accountability, goals, and feedback
- Foster open lines of communication with employees, clinicians, and stakeholders
- Oversee quality assurance of data and credentialing practices
- Serve as a point of escalation for questions and concerns
- Resolve issues that arise and escalate when appropriate
- Stay abreast of credentialing and recredentialing requirements for each client group
- Cascade updates and beneficial information to team members and stakeholders
- Perform functions of a credentialing specialist as needed to support volume
- Other duties as assigned

- Navigate competing priorities and effectively work in a fast-paced environment
- Manage information flow in a timely and accurate manner
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and credentialing related software
Education:
- High School Diploma or GED required
Experience:
- Prior credentialing experience required
- Supervision or managerial experience preferred
- Experience with MS Outlook, Word, and Excel
- Experience with MS Teams and credentialing software preferred
