Line Technician

Bihler's manufacturing plant is looking for a Line Technician. Experience in operating, setting up, and performing maintenance on high precision equipment in a metal stamping and forming environment. Bihler of America, based in Phillipsburg NJ, has been a leading force in advanced automation technology since 1976. We create advanced systems for companies all over the world and have a growing manufacturing division creating diverse products such as medical devices and electrical products. Responsibilities & Duties:

• Produce parts to customer specifications.
• Understand piece part drawings.
• Measure parts using the proper inspection equipment and inspect raw materials.
• Enter data and fill out inspection sheets.
• Make adjustments to tooling to keep parts in specification.
• Ensure proper labeling, packaging and palletizing of parts.
• Perform all other duties, as assigned.

Skills & Requirements:

• Positive attitude and a team player.
• Must have good record keeping skills.
• Ability to measure parts accurately using toolmaker microscopes, comparators, etc.
• Willingness to work overtime when required.
• Good work ethics and a desire to learn are essential.
• Good communication skills and attention to details are a must.

Physical requirements:

• Be able to work in assembly plants.
• Frequent standing, lifting, and walking.
