BTC Electronics is a value-add distributor of connectors and manufacturer of custom harness and cable assemblies. BTC Electronic delivers products to customers that meet established regulations, standards and specifications primarily for the aerospace and defense industries.

We are looking for a Production Associate to follow the work instructions for completing the required job function. This role will also Identify and sort products and components by name and description. The Production Associate should be able to take direction & instructions. This position will be based in Wake Forest, NC.

Responsibilities:

  • Set up, operate, load, and monitor equipment to ensure a quality product is produced.
  • Perform tasks by frequently moving back and forth between machines. Follow procedures
  • Light assembly, ink mark parts
  • Counting for kit parts, kitting parts on a scale
  • Backfilling of parts
  • Package completed items for shipping.
  • Completes required quality production paperwork according to company work rules
  • Comply with all quality, safety, and work rules and regulations
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Must be a high school graduate or GED equivalent
  • Basic computer and math skills.
  • Good communication skills, both written and oral; ability to read, write and speak English.
  • Ability to stand, walk, sit, or move around work location without limitation for long periods of time
  • Well organized
  • Experience using hands to operate machinery and/or assemble products.
