Position Name -DevOps Technical Lead

Location- Alpharetta, GA OR Omaha, NE

Duration- Long Term

Job Responsibilities:

Architect, implement, and operate container services platforms, with a focus on CI/CD pipeline integration.

Enhance efficiency through automation, reducing manual tasks.

Evaluate risks while ensuring task efficiency.

Analyze, diagnose, replicate, and resolve technical issues reported by customers using Client PaaS and CaaS platforms.

Develop maintainable and reusable software with a consumer-centric approach.

Take ownership of unresolved issues, seeking in-depth knowledge for timely resolution.

Manage and maintain support requests from business unit customers.

Collaborate with engineering groups to triage customer and business unit issues.

Contribute to building and peer-reviewing knowledge base articles and product documentation.

Skills and Experience Required:

Required

Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience building and maintaining Container Platforms (e.g., PAS/TAS, PKS/TKGI, GKE, IBM Redhat OpenShift, ARO, ROSA).

Proficiency in deploying and supporting Kubernetes on at least one public IAAS provider (Azure, Amazon, GCP, Alibaba).

Strong networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP, subnetting, socket vs. connect timeouts, routing, and DNS.

Experience designing and implementing Infrastructure as Code APIs using tools like Swagger.

Solid understanding of virtual computing environments, including Hypervisors and load balancing concepts.

Familiarity with Identity Management, Access Management, and Certificate Management.

Demonstrated competency in programming/scripting languages (preference for Go, Ansible, Terraform, and Python).

Hands-on experience with distributed systems (Windows and Linux) and virtualization software (VMware).

Understanding of DevOps practices, with hands-on experience in Automation/Continuous Integration using tools like Jenkins, Harness, RunDeck, GitLab, and GitHub.

Desired

Experience with NSX, NSX-T, and Panorama.

Familiarity with Vsphere7 and TKG.

Background in DevOps methodologies.

Excellent communication skills.

On-call experience.
