Job Description:


We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Title Clerk to join our team at Pierre Auto Group. The Title Clerk will be responsible for processing vehicle titles and ensuring all documentation is accurate and compliant with state regulations. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.


Responsibilities:


  • Process and file vehicle titles and registrations for new and used car sales.
  • Verify that all documentation is complete and accurate, including titles, registration applications, and sales contracts.
  • Communicate with the Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) and other relevant agencies to resolve any title issues or discrepancies.
  • Maintain accurate records of all title and registration transactions.
  • Prepare and submit title paperwork to the DMV and follow up on the status of titles.
  • Assist in resolving any title-related issues with customers, lenders, and other parties.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to both internal and external customers.
  • Stay updated on changes in state regulations and ensure compliance with all legal requirements.
  • Perform other administrative duties as assigned by the management team.


Qualifications:


  • High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education or certification in automotive services or related field is a plus.
  • Previous experience as a Title Clerk or in a similar administrative role within the automotive industry is preferred.
  • Knowledge of state title and registration regulations.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and dealership management software.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and integrity.
