Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:00 am – 4:30 PM Lunch 1 hr (30 minutes covered by company) No weekends unless agreed upon Vacation to be requested 30 days in advance subject to approval Manage, motivate, and delegate the work for your team. Actively take part in the development of the Department with focus on staff, quality, efficiency, and profitability. Handle operations and assist others whenever necessary.
Responsibilities of position

Actively take part in the development of the Department with focus on staff, quality, efficiency, and profitability.Handle operations and assist others whenever necessary.Maintain the customer portfolio commercially and participate in procurement on occasion as well.Maintain a strong line of communication with clients and vendors.Review current rates and carriers being utilized Work closely with other departments for smooth operationsOverall standard procedures for Sea export

1. Be current with mail in and delegate accordingly. All emails should be replied to by end of day and inbox should be cleared out unless item is pending
2. Create operational files in the corresponding activity number.
3. Create booking for customer/account
4. Make sure all rates are in place buying & Selling
5. Upon receipt of confirmation review for accuracy, Destination, equipment ETD & ETA.
6. Review and closely monitor the loading calendar to make sure we do not miss any Doc cut off or Cargo cut off
7. Correspond closely with the warehouse for expected consolidation dates
8. Create release for warehouse with 2 days buffer time
9. Closely monitor all shipments to make sure it sailed as booked and or connected to feeder as booked and it arrives as booked.
10. Bill all files on a timely manner 5 days form ETD.
11. Post all cost on files at the time of billing or estimate
12. Close all files on a timely manner.
