If you love the Upper Peninsula then you will love working from our Hancock, Michigan office. We are currently seeking a motivated Environmental Scientist/Geologist/Engineer to join our Hancock, Michigan-based geoenvironmental project team. 

Key Responsibilities
  • Field and office support for environmental site assessment and remediation projects, soil, sediment, groundwater, surface water, pore water, and soil gas sample collection.
  • Technical task management for remedial investigations, feasibility studies, and due diligence.
  • Support design, bid specification development, construction oversight, operation, and maintenance of environmental remediation projects.
  • Data synthesis, evaluation, and technical reporting.
  • Support business development and proposal preparation.


Skills, Knowledge and ExpertiseThe best fit candidate should have a BS or MS in Geology, Environmental Science, or Engineering with a minimum of three years of environmental consulting or regulatory experience. Other preferred qualifications include:
  • Knowledge of Michigan and Federal environmental regulations (air, water, soil, waste).
  • Ability to work independently and in a diverse team environment, and strong verbal and written communication skills are required. 
  • Contaminated sediment evaluation and ecological restoration experience are desirable.
  • Candidate must have a valid driver’s license 
  • HAZWOPER certification will be required.
