Closed Loop Recycling (CLR) is looking for a hard-working, self-motivated Warehouse Operations Intern to join our production team We provide a full service to manufacturers, providing them with reusable oil-absorbent material that soaks up leaks and spills in their facilities. The role that takes place in our plant is hands-on, where you will learn how to operate multiple machines, learn warehouse operations, collaborate with warehouse staff, assist leadership with training and administrative tasks, perform inventory control tasks, and take the initiative to create an excellent working environment and improve warehouse associate performance and efficiency.

Job Responsibilities

  • Assist in warehouse-based projects: 5s organization, I-auditor inspections, etc.

  • Learn the Shipping and Receiving process and audit inventory for accuracy.

  • Train and work at different workstations as production needs require throughout the day/week.

  • Ensure the quality of the product is 100% client-ready.

  • Ability to repackage clean material, stock inventory shelves, and enter inventory in our CRM system.

  • Create Safety content to be presented to the warehouse staff by leadership.

  • Keep the facility up to OSHA safety standards and audit-ready.

  • Other responsibilities as assigned

Opportunities

  • Part-time 20-30 hrs a week paid.

Skills and Preferred Experience:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent

  • Basic computer skills, knowledge of email and Google Docs programs.

  • Production/Warehouse experience

  • Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 100 lbs)

  • Ability to learn and operate warehouse equipment
