Events Team Lead Responsibilities

  • Assist in identifying new event opportunities within the community as needed
  • Develop and maintain relationships with Event Promoters
  • Work alongside Events Coordinators and the Event Supervisor to ensure all events are attended
  • Ensure customer service satisfaction and good client relationships
  • Ensure that all paperwork and trackers for the Events teams are being updated in a timely manner
  • Generate and qualify sales leads by engaging with the customers while at events
  • Achieve sales goals outlined by the management and consistently grow our customer base to meet the company’s financial objectives
  • Support recruitment efforts and new candidates through training and maintain communication with the Events Supervisor to support our recruitment funnel
  • Support the team of event marketers with a direct hands-on approach, provide motivation and coaching to help team reach daily, weekly, and monthly goals
  • Maintain excellent communication with the Events Supervisor
  • Support the development of our culture with the team through role modeling desired behaviors and techniques
  • Assist in touch points with team members that supports the best practices for performance management on a regular basis

Promotional Marketing Responsibilities

  • Responsible for booking potential customers for a free no-obligation window consultation at various Events in your territory
  • Set up top quality booth spaces at promotional events
  • Work with the Events Supervisor to support design consultant integration with the events department
  • Communicate with all other departments to ensure best practices are being maintained
  • Welcome customers and provide them general information on our products
  • Support the team of event marketers with a direct hands-on approach, provide motivation and coaching to help team reach daily, weekly, and monthly goals
  • Meet or exceed department goals

Requirements:
  • 1-2 years of sales or marketing experience
  • 1 year of customer service experience preferred
  • Must be able to effectively lead, prioritize, manage time and projects, and multi-task in a fast paced, growing company environment
  • Detail oriented while having the ability to operate efficiently in a busy environment
  • Excellent training and coaching skills
  • Ability to understand the role of marketing communications and sales promotion
