 We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Social Media Assistant to join our marketing team. The ideal candidate will assist in managing and growing our social media presence across various platforms. This role requires a passion for social media, strong communication skills, and the ability to create engaging content that aligns with our brand voice and strategy. 

Pay Range: $20.25 - $31.00 hourly

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the development and implementation of social media strategies to increase brand awareness and engagement.
  • Create, schedule, and publish content across multiple social media platforms, including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, and others.
  • Monitor social media channels for comments, messages, and mentions, and respond promptly to engage with our audience.
  • Track and report on social media performance metrics and provide insights for improvement.
  • Conduct research on industry trends, competitor activities, and audience preferences to inform content creation.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in social media platforms and tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer, Canva).
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Creative mindset with a keen eye for design and aesthetics.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
