General Responsibilities / Job Summary:

Responsible for supporting the commercial lending function for the Relationship Managers and Regional President. Works with clients and third-party providers to gather support documentation needed for loan requests. Enters information and uploads files into CRM/underwriting system for clients and prospects. Maintains various reports and servicing of specialty lending products and assists with problem resolution. Submits documentation requests to the Doc Group prior to loan closings and submits files to Loan Ops for booking and funding post close. Actively works to clear exceptions and gather required financials. Orders property reports, appraisals, environmental reports, UCC filing reports and other documentation needed for loan files. Keeps up-to-date with all changes to bank policies, procedures, federal and state regulations which impact problem resolution aspects. May assist with special initiatives or projects; supports other areas within the Commercial Lending Sales area as needed.

  • Works with Relationship Managers and Regional President for timely management of loan requests
  • Order reports and work with third party providers to gather items needed for loan files
  • Uploads loan account file information to the bank’s underwriting/CRM system and verify for accuracy.
  • Performs post-closing review functions; coordinating work within the department, as well as with other departments; reporting pertinent information to the immediate supervisor; responds to inquiries or requests for information.
  • Ensure that all loan documents are scanned, indexed, and committed to the client’s file after the loan is booked to the system in a timely and accurate manner. Any address or other loan changes are also scanned to the client’s file.
  • Daily review of insurance tickler report and clear exceptions accurately and timely.
  • Utilizes the principles of teamwork to make sure work is done in a timely manner.
  • Participates in training programs to ensure knowledge of all pertinent procedure and regulatory requirements to perform all aspects of this position in a competent manner.
  • Communicates effectively with immediate supervisor on all important department manners and developments. Responds to questions from internal departments and leadership.
  • Follows all established security and internal control procedures to protect the assets of the Bank and its customers. Maintains proficiency in using all applicable software to this position.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:

Minimum Qualifications:

Education/Training: High School Education or equivalent

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

  • Strong organization and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work and interact with departments throughout the organization.
  • Sound problem solving skills.
  • Good written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, sometimes stressful environment.

Experience: Two (2) years of experience, with a basic understanding of loan documents

Travel Requirements: Ability to travel to all locations in the bank’s footprint as needed.

Physical and Mental Job Requirements:

  • Must be able to verbally communicate instructions and information clearly, concisely, and accurately to our clients and their co-workers.
  • Manual dexterity for the functional operation of office equipment, computer terminal, and other office equipment.
