Job Title: Service Parts Coordinator / Purchasing Agent


Position Overview:

As a Service Parts Coordinator / Purchasing Agent, you will be our first point of contact to our internal and external clients serving their HVAC and Building Automation parts needs through sourcing repair / replacement parts and materials, gathering equipment / parts quotes and effective purchase order management. In this position you will:

 

  • Source parts and equipment for both field technicians and account managers.
  • Order materials for projects / work orders and coordinate their delivery.
  • Purchase order management including PO creation, population and closeout.
  • Coordinate with warehouse staff on material receiving.
  • RMA management for returned materials and equipment.
  • Purchase tools for field service technicians.
  • Coordinate equipment and tool rentals.
  • Coordinate material needs with dispatchers planning labor.
  • Coordinate field service tool calibration and maintenance.
  • Maintain stock of service parts and materials.

 

Position Requirements:

  • Advanced written, verbal, customer service and relationship building skills.
  • Two years related experience and/or training in customer service, purchasing or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • High level organizational skills.
  • Strong Multi‐tasking skills.
  • Flexible, willingness to be able to adapt to change.
  • Ability to work well with others both internally and externally including in stressful situations.
  • Proficiency in standard office computer programs such as MS Office 365.
  • Should operate effectively and efficiently with minimal supervision.
  • Knowledge of industry is recommended but not required.
