JOB DESCRIPTION:

Assemblers perform tasks that are necessary to the production process. They aid in the fabrication of products.


DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

The following reflects management’s definition of essential functions for this job but does not restrict the tasks that may be assigned. Management may assign or reassign duties and responsibilities to this job at any time due to reasonable accommodation or other reasons.


Essential Functions:

Assists in operation of automated winding and die-bonding machinery

Supports assembly, calibration and test of products under the guidance of Assembly lead, including:

Calibration of the sensor and orientation modules

Assembling and screening individual sensors

Assists incoming quality inspection of parts needed for in house assembly

Assists in recording and reporting failures during production to Assembly Lead


Education:

High School Diploma


Skills required:

Experience working manufacturing assembly lines

High attention to detail

Excellent hand-eye coordination

Skilled with mechanics

Willing to perform repetitive tasks while sitting or standing for extended periods of time.

Must have good eyesight, including depth perception, peripheral vision, and ability to differentiate between colors.


Work environment:

Manufacturing and office environment


Compensation:

$22 - $26/hour

Weekdays, 9 – 5
