Summary: The Sr. Lab Technician/QA Manager will be responsible for conducting advanced laboratory tests and analyses, ensuring accurate and reliable results throughout multiple locations. Additionally, this position is responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining a system of quality and reliability testing for our products and processes.

Essential duties of Position:

  • Oversee day-to-day operations of the lab
  • Manage the requirements of the Quality Management program, such as ISO 9001 throughout the different locations as it applies.
  • Assist in the implementation of new lab equipment
  • Familiarize oneself with the operation and maintenance of existing lab equipment
  • Become fluent in all laboratory methodology.
  • Maintain clean and safe workspaces
  • Ensure compliance with safety, regulatory, and quality standards

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Needed:

  • Exceptional communication skills
  • Proficient writing skills
  • Good knowledge of MS Office Suite of programs.
  • Work in a team environment, often as lead
  • Work on small projects
  • Good organizational skills

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Chemistry, or related field required
  • Minimum of 2 years of work-related experience
