JOB TITLE: Clinician 1 (Full-Time)
Job Details: Under the direction of the Director of Behavioral Health, the Phoenix Clinician will provide clinical services to survivors of human trafficking. Services will include intakes, biopsychosocial assessments, treatment plans and reviews, referrals, individual and group therapy, crisis intervention, and coordination of care.
Salary (Paid in US Dollars)
$56,000.00
Qualifications
- Ability to understand and practice the mission of Camillus House.
- Education: Master’s Degree in Mental Health/Social Work or related field. A combination of relevant education and work experience will be considered.
- Licensed Mental Health/Social Worker to provide counseling in the State of FL.
- Language: Proficiency in oral and written English required; Spanish preferred and other languages a plus (i.e. Creole).
- Skills: Computer literacy required (Word, Excel, other data entry programs)
Requirements
Successful completion of Toxicology test, L2 fingerprints, local background screening, and OIG reference check.
Valid FL Driver License
Legally authorized to work in the United States.

ABOUT CAMILLUS: For more than 62 years, Camillus House has provided a variety of programs to address the needs of individuals who are mentally ill and suffer from substance abuse disorders, with the end goal of helping them achieve housing stability. One of the largest and most comprehensive non-profit providers of housing and services for the homeless in Miami, Camillus offers those served compassionate and professional care through our DCF-licensed and CARF-Accredited behavioral health programs and specialized outreach teams, and our staff a rewarding career that makes a difference.

Responsibilities:
- Provides individual and group counseling and documentation of services, under the direction of the Director of Behavioral Health and Lead Clinician.
- Provides Psychological education to groups and documentation of services.
- Performs and documents psychosocial assessments within a timely manner.
- Constructs, implements, and monitors client’s treatment plans within a timely manner.
- Documents the client’s progress in treatment with progress notes within a timely manner (in HMIS, KIS, ICANotes, or any other database being utilized).
- Documents the client’s discharge or transfer plans.
- Attends treatment team meetings with other staff members involved with the client to assist with the ongoing development of client’s treatment plan.
- Attends weekly clinical case conference meetings.
- Attends all scheduled and called staff meetings on time.
- Attends the client’s medical/psychiatric or any other appointments if requested by supervisor.
- Submits reports in a timely manner.
- Assesses and initiate crisis interventions and baker act if necessary.
- Participates in disaster planning.
- Referrals and F/U to legal, medical, social services, etc. for clients.
- Responsible for reaching out to community providers for possible referrals on a weekly basis (if not at full capacity).
- Other Duties as assigned.
