Caregiver, HHA and HomeMakers

$100 sign on bonus( with 60 days perfect attendance)

Description of the role: Come and work for the largest, privately owned, Home Health Company, in the United States. Caregivers, HHA and HomeMakers. Are you bored sitting at home? Do you want to make extra money? Do you want to make a difference in your community?  Sometimes, the seasoned caregivers, are the best caretakers. If you are that Caregiver/HHA and Homemaker then apply at Village Caregiving - Marion.

 We provide compassionate and professional care to individuals in their homes or in assisted living facilities. This role involves assisting clients with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and medication reminders. Caregivers also provide companionship and emotional support to clients, helping them maintain a high quality of life. Must be available for at least 10 hours a week.

$100 bonus( just in time for Christmas)

Responsibilities:

  • Assisting clients with personal care tasks, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting
  • Providing medication reminders 
  • Preparing meals and assisting with feeding, as necessary
  • Assisting with light housekeeping tasks, such as laundry and vacuuming
  • Having quality time with your clients, talking, playing board games. etc..
  • Providing companionship and emotional support to clients
  • Monitoring clients' conditions and reporting any changes to the supervising nurse or healthcare professional

Requirements:

  • Valid certification as a Home Health Aide (HHA) or Homemakers
  • Prior experience working as a caregiver or in a similar role
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to follow instructions and work independently
  • Compassionate and patient nature
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Medication Reminders

  • Assist clients with ambulation and mobility around the house or outside (, walks etc.)

  • Assist clients with personal care and hygiene

  • Help clients with recommended exercises

  • Help the client with laundry, cleaning bathroom, kitchen and vacuuming

  • Perform light housekeeping duties that clients can’t complete on their own, including preparing meals

  • Have personal. one on one time with your client

  • Report any unusual incidents to nurses, doctors and family members

  • Act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency

REQUIREMENTS

  • Previous caregiver experience, HHA and Homemakers

  • Current CPR (American Heart Association) Certification, but will provide

  • Willingness to adhere to health and safety standards

  • Knowledge of housekeeping activities and cooking with attention to dietary constraints

  • Must be respectful and compassionate with a good bedside manner

  • Outstanding communication, time management and interpersonal skills

  • Physical endurance to complete required tasks

  • Have reliable transportation and current insurance card
