What it's like to be a Long-Term Care Specialist (Non-Clinical) at Long-Term Care Specialist (Non-Clinical)

As a new Long-Term Care Specialist (Non-Clinical), you can expect a rewarding and fulfilling experience as you support individuals in need of long-term care services. In this role, you will have the opportunity to utilize your problem-solving skills and abundant thinking to assess client needs and connect them with appropriate services and resources. On a day-to-day basis, you will be responsible for conducting assessments, coordinating care plans, and working closely with clients and their families to ensure their needs are met. You will also collaborate with a team of dedicated professionals to provide comprehensive support and guidance.

Your schedule will be Monday through Friday, from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with a one-hour lunch break. This consistent schedule allows you to maintain a healthy work-life balance while making a positive impact in the lives of those you serve. Proficiency in relevant software and tools is also important. Familiarity with database systems and electronic health records will be valuable for managing client information efficiently. Additionally, proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook, will support effective documentation and communication.
