Hiring Immediately - $21.50-24.50/hr + bonuses

Full-time & Part-time

Help us get out the vote This year, it is imperative that we get as many people across the country as possible to the polls. That's why we are partnering with great groups like Forward Majority NC and Analyst Institute. In these offices we will be canvassing at different sites to conduct research and build political power, encouraging voters to register and stand up for abortion rights in the November 5th election.

This role is a great opportunity to gain experience in the following areas: Leadership, Communication & Advocacy, Community Outreach & Engagement, Campaign Work, Public Policy, and Social Enterprise.

Get paid well Standard Canvasser wages start at $21.50/hour. Training days are paid at $20/hr and Leadership positions start at $24.50/hour. We offer raises to canvassers who stay with us beyond two weeks, driver bonuses, shift bonuses, paid training, sick pay, and bonuses for friend referrals.

Locations: Durham and Greensboro, NC

We are hiring immediately Shifts run from 1:30pm - 7:30pm weekdays and weekends with the options to work between 3 and 6 days per week.

Canvasser Responsibilities ($21.50/hr):

  • Engage with the public in a friendly and respectful manner
  • Deliver a compelling campaign message, and collect complete survey answers from voters
  • Participate in staff training to improve outreach skills
  • Strictly follow the campaign's safety protocols, including the use of PPE and compliance with daily health and safety guidelines

The ideal candidate:

-Passionate about progressive politics and fostering democracy

-Strong communication skills; you should enjoy working with other people and be willing and excited to speak with everyone

-Hard worker who will stay motivated to engage as many people as possible

-Open to new challenges and are interested in building their campaign skills

-Culturally competent and able to respectfully engage with teammates and the community

-Prior canvassing experience is not required.
