Job Title: Cannabis Kitchen Technician | Reports to: Kitchen Manager | Location: Homestead, FL 33030

Job Summary: The Cannabis Kitchen Technician plays a crucial role in our cannabis kitchen, contributing to the production of high-quality cannabis-infused products. This individual will be responsible for various tasks related to the preparation, cooking, and packaging of cannabis-infused edibles, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and maintaining a clean and organized workspace.

Responsibilities:

  • Product Preparation:

  • Accurately measure and weigh cannabis and other ingredients according to recipes.

  • Follow standardized procedures for the preparation of cannabis-infused products.

  • Operate kitchen equipment and appliances with precision and safety.

  • Cooking and Infusion:

  • Execute cooking processes while monitoring temperature, timing, and quality.

  • Safely handle and infuse cannabis extracts into edible products.

  • Maintain consistency in product quality and potency.

  • Quality Control:

  • Conduct regular quality checks to ensure products meet established standards.

  • Record and report any deviations or discrepancies in the production process.

  • Work closely with the quality assurance team to address any concerns.

  • Compliance and Documentation:

  • Adhere to all relevant regulations and guidelines for cannabis-infused product manufacturing.

  • Maintain accurate records of ingredients, batches, and production processes.

  • Assist in audits and inspections as needed.

  • Sanitation and Safety:

  • Follow proper sanitation protocols to ensure a clean and safe work environment.

  • Adhere to health and safety guidelines, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE).

  • Report any safety concerns or incidents promptly.

  • Team Collaboration:

  • Collaborate with other team members, including kitchen staff, production supervisors, and quality assurance personnel.

  • Communicate effectively to ensure smooth workflow and production efficiency.

  • Starting Wage: $18/hr. The Flowery offers yearly (or performance based) evaluations per the company's discretion. All full-time employees automatically qualify for benefits, PTO & Paid Holidays after their probationary period; which is 30 days. Starting wages are determined by several factors including experience.
