Forward Labs is proud to be one of the largest providers of sleep services in Illinois, with AASM-accredited facilities, including UIC Sleep Science Center. The Polysomnographic Technologist works under medical supervision to perform and evaluate polysomnograms and other sleep disorders-related testing. This individual functions independently to operate sophisticated medical equipment safely and will provide continuing education to patients for sleep-related issues.

The ideal candidate will have prior sleep medicine experience and exhibit exceptional patient care skills across all age groups.

We are also open to candidates who are board-certified and board-eligible.


Responsibilities:

1. Provide age-appropriate care to all patients and families in a professional and respectful manner

2. Utilize critical thinking skills and make modifications in patient care based on evaluation and continuing assessments.

3. Perform all duties in accordance with standards of care, policies & procedures, regulatory guidelines, and role specific competencies.

4. Follow the proper chain of command, display professionalism always, and maintain patient confidentiality.

5. Collaborates with all members of the health care team to promote a seamless patient care continuum.
