Extruder Operator

As an Extruder Operator (also known as Fabrication Technician, Auxiliary Equipment Operator), you'll set up and operate extruders, fabrication, and auxiliary equipment. You'll determine the necessary equipment for each product, run parts to established specifications and efficiency standards, and make necessary adjustments. You'll also conduct product quality checks, complete paperwork, and pack products as required.

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• 1 to 3 years of plastic processing experience operating extruders and fabrication equipment.
• Proficient in reading, writing, speaking, and understanding English, with strong mechanical aptitude and math skills.
• Ability to read blueprints, use precise instruments, operate various hand tools, machines, and warehouse equipment, and manage time effectively.
• Physical ability to lift and carry 50 pounds, push and pull 1,500 pounds, and stand, walk, and sit for extended periods.
