Under the guidance of the Operations Manager this associate will be responsible for accurately pulling and packing products shipped to customers. Also includes LEAN processes and general warehouse duties.

  • RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES INCLUDE:
  • Advocate and participate in process improvement projects
  • Accurately pulling products from shelves
  • Applying RX labels to applicable product to ensure regulatory compliance
  • Carefully packaging product to be shipped to our customers
  • Labeling and stocking shelves with newly received products
  • LEAN processes: dusting, sweeping, making cooler boxes, organizing ice packs.
  • Contribute to building a quality work environment by taking initiative, respecting others, and being a team player.
  • Pursue professional growth through continued education and company sponsored educational sessions
  • Follow the policies and procedures in the Armor Animal Health handbook. Use good communication by listening and sharing information to enable others to do their jobs more effectively. Use proper language and etiquette, set a good example and treat the customer with respect and appreciation. Exceed Expectations.

QUALIFICATIONS:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each responsibility satisfactorily. Enthusiasm, initiative, reliability, leadership, teamwork, confidentiality and an outgoing personality are important attributes for this individual. Professionalism, multi-tasking, excellent organizational and communication skills (telephone and personal) are very important to this position.

  • Requires a high school diploma with courses in math, computer operations, and customer service procedures.
  • Experience in packing/pulling environment
  • Transportation Brokerage experience a plus
  • Farm experience and animal health knowledge a plus
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Proficient computer skills in Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time
  • Ability to follow directions, prioritize work, manage multiple projects, and work independently.
  • Positive attitude and approach, self-motivation and professionalism.

HOURS OF WORK AND COMPENSATION:

  • Position is based in Mandan, ND
  • Normal business hours 8-5pm
