Slots - Technician

JOB DESCRIPTION:

POSITION TITLE: Slot Technician

DEPARTMENT: Slots

DIVISION: Casino Operations

REPORTS TO: Slot Technical Services Manager

Salary range: $12.00/hour to $19.00/hour PLUS TOKES; Must be able to obtain Mississippi Gaming License.

POSITION SUMMARY:Ensure that all equipment in department functions properly and effectively and take corrective action when necessary.

TASKS:

1. Ensure preventive maintenance instructions are instituted and performed for all equipment on a timely basis.
2. Maintain security and guest satisfaction in accordance with established policies and procedures.
3. Other tasks as requested by management.

EDUCATION OR SKILLS REQUIRED:

Must have slot machine experience or professional electronic, military electronic and/or college electronics education. Prior knowledge of electro-mechanical devices, video repair and computer skills a plus.

PHYSICAL ACTIVITIES:

Required to buddy lift 300 lbs at least 25 inches above the floor and maintain stressful postures for long periods of time.

HAZARDS:

May be exposed to electrical shocks. Finger and manual dexterity, motor coordination, color discrimination and depth perception.
