Litigation/Mediation Paralegal

Position Overview: We are seeking a diligent and experienced Mediation Paralegal to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in creditors' rights law, with specific expertise in Pennsylvania foreclosure procedures. This role will involve providing essential support to our attorneys in litigation and mediation proceedings, ensuring that our clients receive the highest standard of legal representation.

Responsibilities:

• Assist attorneys in all aspects of litigation and mediation related to creditors' rights cases, with a primary focus on Pennsylvania foreclosures.

• Draft and file legal documents, including complaints, motions, and responses, in accordance with court procedures and deadlines.

• Conduct legal research on relevant statutes, regulations, and case law to support case strategies and arguments.

• Coordinate with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel to schedule hearings, depositions, and other proceedings.

• Maintain organized case files and electronic records, ensuring accuracy and completeness of documentation.

• Prepare attorneys for hearings, trials, and mediation sessions by assembling necessary materials and information.

• Provide administrative support, such as managing calendars, billing, and correspondence, as needed.

Qualifications:

• Paralegal certification or relevant training preferred.

• 1+ years of experience as a litigation paralegal, with a focus on creditors' rights and foreclosure law.

• In-depth knowledge of Pennsylvania foreclosure procedures, court rules, and filing requirements.

• Proficiency in legal research tools, such as LexisNexis or Westlaw, and Microsoft Office Suite.

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with attorneys, clients, and colleagues.

• Demonstrated professionalism, discretion, and commitment to maintaining client confidentiality.
