Position Summary:

This is a part-time position, working about 25 hours per week. The Membership Assistant will help with member relations and retention, member questions, tours, and other member related items. This role will involve creating and managing member programs, events, and communications that foster a sense of community, loyalty, and belonging among members. The ideal candidate will possess excellent interpersonal skills, a deep understanding of club culture, and a passion for delivering exceptional member experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

Member Engagement:

- Help with Membership promotions, ideas and implementation

- Reply to membership online inquiries when membership manager is not available.

- Conduct prospective members tours when needed

- Assist in maintaining Membership spreadsheets, charts and historical member data

- Member retention – phone calls, emails, written correspondence during members first 18 months of membership

Data Management and Analysis:

- Assist with Member applications and resignations.

- Maintain accurate records of member interactions, preferences, and feedback.

- Paperwork and computer data base filing upkeep.

- Analyze membership data to identify trends and opportunities for enhancing member engagement and retention.

Team Collaboration:

- Work closely with the club’s management team to align member engagement initiatives with the overall strategic goals of The Spokane Club.

- Collaborate with department heads to ensure a cohesive approach to member service and satisfaction.

Qualifications:

- Prefer experience in member engagement, customer service, or a related role, preferably in a club or hospitality environment.

- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with members.

- Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

- Microsoft Office, excel, word, etc knowledge along with basic computer skills and ability to learn to use our different software systems; Club Essential & Galaxy.

- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, to accommodate member events and activities.
