AV Foreman

Hunt Electric, Inc. of Salt Lake City, UT is searching for a full-time Audio Visual Foreman to join our Audio Visual team. Can you work in a team environment with other employees to oversee the installation of audio visual equipment? Can you trouble shoot and install with good customer service skills? Are you dependable, self-motivated, self-managed, organized, and have problem-solving skills? If so, keep on reading The Audio Visual Foreman will be responsible for managing one or more projects and day to day activities related to construction. The Foreman will manage Technicians and Apprentices in the successful execution of projects with varying complexities.  This position will report directly to Project Manager to produce on time, within budget, project delivery while maintaining high levels of safety, quality and craftsmanship.  Project execution should be done within the confines of company goals and vision in order to exceed client expectations.

Major Duties:

• Planning and Defining Scope and mobilization plan.
• Activity Coordination / Sequencing assistance
• Understand Project Specifications
• Resource Planning
• Produce Material Requisitions
• Produce 6 week look ahead
• Understand Construction Drawings
• Assist in Project Labor Projections
• Interaction with client and or General Contractor
• Assist Project Teams to Mitigate Risks and Issues
• Team Leadership
• Utilize Construction Technology
• On site management of subcontractors
• Supply Chain Management
• Controlling Quality
• Attention To Detail
• Customer Service
• Execute Site Commissioning and Turnup
• Understand customer expectations

 Minimum Qualifications

• 4+ Years in Audio Video Industry
• Experience running crews
• Hold Safety in High Regard
• Expect high level quality craftsmanship
• Willing to help educate team members
• Experience delivering large complex projects
• Bluebeam Exposure

    Preferred Experience/Qualifications

• 6+ Years in Audio Video Industry
• Experienced with Crestron, Extron or Control 4 Installations
• CTS Certification
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Proficient in Bluebeam
• Good Communications Skills
• Understand Project Financial Commitments
• History of successful project performance resume in Low Voltage Industry

WORK SCHEDULE:
This is a full-time position with a typical working schedule of Monday - Thursday 7:00am - 4:30pm and Friday 7:00am - 2:00pm.
