SUMMARY:

This position is located in our new outpatient clinic setting and requires an ability to work independently. We provide high quality mental health and AODA services to the community. As a counselor, you will play a pivotal role in supporting individuals on their journey to wellness and recovery. We are a Public Student Loan Forgiveness employer.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

  • Conducts individual counseling sessions with clients to assess their needs, develop treatment plans and provide ongoing support.
  • Utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques to address a variety of mental health and substance use concerns.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality and all residents and comply with HIPPA requirements.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records in compliance with clinic policies and legal regulations.
  • Participate in regular case consultations and team meetings to discuss client progress and treatment strategies.
  • Responds to crisis intervention as needed during work hours.
  • Maintains licensure requirements as directed by the Department of Safety and Professional Services.
  • Participates in after hours on-call crisis rotation.
  • Completes all other duties as directed by the Clinical Manager.

  • Required: Licensed as a SAC-IT, SAC or CSAC, LCSW, APSW, LPC, LPC-IT or MFT.
  • Preferred: Master’s degree in counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or related field or in school
  • Excellent communication skills – verbal and written.
  • Computer proficiency
  • Ability to work independently.
