About Us: PsychoGeriatric Services (PGS) is a leader in mental health, with over 30 years of dedicated service to patients in nursing homes, assisted living, and other long-term care facilities. We are a growing team of 100+ highly qualified psychiatrists, nurse practitioners, licensed psychologists, and clinical social workers across Maryland, Virginia, Pennsylvania, and Washington DC.
We collaborate with our facility partners to deliver evidence-based mental health care services, including psychiatric assessments, medication management, psychotherapy, crisis intervention, hospital placements and treatment, educational training, and quality regulatory documentation.
We offer compassionate care for long-term care residents, dependable support for our facility partners, and rewarding careers for mental healthcare providers.
Position Overview: We are currently seeking a Licensed Psychologist to join our team and provide psychotherapy services at our partner facilities. This role offers an opportunity for meaningful, flexible, and autonomous work while making a significant impact on the lives of seniors in our community. Responsibilities:
- Provide individual and family counseling to clients in nursing homes, assisted care, and other long-term care facilities.
- Consult, educate, and coordinate care with facility staff, including nursing home administrator, director of nursing, and director of social services.
- Adhere to established regulations, policies, and procedures while exercising initiative and independent judgment.
- Meaningful Work: Make a difference in the lives of seniors and their families by providing vital psychotherapy services.

- Autonomy: Work independently while receiving strong clinical and administrative support as needed.
- Competitive Compensation: Full-time roles up to $124,800 per year, with competitive compensation for part-time positions.

Requirements
- Passion for working with seniors and providing exceptional care
- State license as a Licensed Psychologist
- Availability to work during normal, weekday business hours (no night or weekend calls)
- Ability to stand for 20 minutes
- Ability to lift 15 pounds
