Job Summary:
Senior Helpers, a leading healthcare company South Orange County, is looking for new caregivers to join our team We are looking for dedicated and enthusiastic caregivers who are passionate about making a difference in the lives of seniors. This role involves providing daily assistance and companionship to elderly clients, helping them live independently in the comfort of their own homes. Ideal candidates will have strong interpersonal skills, patience, and a caring attitude. Compassion and empathy are essential qualities for this position. Caregivers must be reliable and sensitive to the physical, mental, and emotional needs of the elderly. Compensation & Benefits:
- Salary range of $18 to $20 per hour, paid biweekly. OT hours are highly likely for FT caregivers

Responsibilities:
- Assist with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
- Prepare meals and assist with feeding, as needed
- Provide medication reminders and assist with medication management
- Accompany clients to appointments and help with errands and shopping
- Engage clients in meaningful conversations and activities
- Maintain a safe and comfortable living environment
- Document all care provided in a timely and accurate manner
- Communicate effectively with clients, families, and Senior Helpers team members
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in caregiving or a related field is preferred, but not required
- Compassionate, patient, and reliable
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to adapt to different personalities and environments
- Must pass a criminal background check and drug screening
- Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds
