Job Description

As a Linen Laundry Driver, your primary responsibility will be to efficiently pick up and deliver clean and dirty linen to and from specified destinations within our organization. Your role plays a crucial part in ensuring the smooth operation of our linen logistics.

As a Laundry Driver, you will: 

  • Safely load and unload linen onto delivery trucks.
  • Transport linen to designated destinations according to schedules.
  • Secure linen carts inside delivery trucks with blocks and tie ropes to prevent shifting during transit.
  • Collect dirty laundry from all buildings as per established schedules.Deliver linen buckets to various buildings in accordance with provided schedules.
  • Ensure the vehicle is in good working condition by filling up the gas tank before the end of each shift.
  • Keep the truck clean and report any maintenance issues to the mechanics promptly.
  • Assist in Laundry Operations: Offer support to the laundry department when needed, which may include sorting, washing, or folding resort linen.
  • Other Duties: Perform other tasks and responsibilities as assigned by the supervisor or management.
Qualifications

  • Must be to lift up to 50lbs
  • Must have a Valid Tennessee Driver's Licence (With 3 years Driving record)
  • Must have one-year experience in driving the class of vehicle operated and must meet all state and local licensing requirements. 
  • Must maintain satisfactory driving records and must take a mandatory defensive driving safety class
  • Required to pass a background check, drug test, and prove eligibility to work in the United States
