Job DescriptionJob DescriptionFreedom Detox is seeking a qualified Music Therapist. Bachelors in music therapy or creative arts required.
2-3 hours per week to run groups.
- Uses subject, form and content of various art forms to enhance and initiate growth and change
- Conducts and facilitates modalities of music therapy, art therapy, dance/movement therapy, and/or expressive arts activities for groups
- Prepares materials for facilitating sessions and or groups
- Collaborates with other professionals in a team approach
- Evaluates behavioral and emotional needs of clients
- Participates in completing documents within the allowable time frames in collaboration with therapists
- Maintains safe, clean, orderly and therapeutic physical environment for clients including crisis intervention
- Maintains ethical boundaries with clients
- Travel to offices as needed
- Other duties as deemed necessary
