As a Leasing Consultant, you will play a vital role in assisting the Community Manager with property management tasks and ensuring a positive experience for residents and applicants. DUTIES:

  • Report to the Community Manager and engage with prospective residents, residents, vendors, and all guests of the community.
  • Serve as the first impression for visitors to our Leasing Office.
  • Emphasize service and contribute ideas and suggestions for effective marketing/leasing plans.
  • Execute plans in accordance with Section 42 Guidelines, The Fair Housing Act, and RichSmith Policies and Procedures.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 1 Year leasing experience preferred
  • Great verbal and written communication skills
  • Outstanding focus on customer service
  • Ability to handle basic office tasks (e.g., typing, filing, scanning, faxing, answering telephones)
  • Capacity to multitask and prioritize in a busy environment
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Extensive mobility and good physical condition
  • Ability to walk property, including multiple flights of stairs
  • Lift a minimum of 60 lbs. for tasks such as vacuuming, moving office furniture, and lifting supplies
  • Effective communication with residents, staff, supervisors, vendors, etc.
