As a Leasing Consultant, you will play a vital role in assisting the Community Manager with property management tasks and ensuring a positive experience for residents and applicants. DUTIES:
- Report to the Community Manager and engage with prospective residents, residents, vendors, and all guests of the community.
- Serve as the first impression for visitors to our Leasing Office.
- Emphasize service and contribute ideas and suggestions for effective marketing/leasing plans.
- Execute plans in accordance with Section 42 Guidelines, The Fair Housing Act, and RichSmith Policies and Procedures.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 1 Year leasing experience preferred
- Great verbal and written communication skills
- Outstanding focus on customer service
- Ability to handle basic office tasks (e.g., typing, filing, scanning, faxing, answering telephones)
- Capacity to multitask and prioritize in a busy environment
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Extensive mobility and good physical condition
- Ability to walk property, including multiple flights of stairs
- Lift a minimum of 60 lbs. for tasks such as vacuuming, moving office furniture, and lifting supplies
- Effective communication with residents, staff, supervisors, vendors, etc.
