Job DescriptionJob DescriptionPosition SummaryWe are seeking a motivated and dedicated individual to join our team as a Machinist Apprentice. As a Machinist Apprentice, you will work closely with experienced machinists and learn the skills necessary to become a proficient machinist yourself. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are passionate about machines and eager to build a successful career in this field. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Knowledge of how to operate grinders, machinery, and other equipment.
  • Ability to take precise measurements and make calculations.
  • Monitoring the production process and intervening when problems arise
  • Inspecting finished parts for flaws and defects.
  • Developing plans of action to manufacture parts according to specifications.
  • Reviews drawings, instructions, blueprints or samples to ensure accurate production.
JOB REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Ability to move roughly 50-75lbs.
  • Understanding of health and safety regulations to reduce workplace accidents.
  • Analytical and problem – solving skills to develop effective manufacturing processes.
  • Excellent coordination and mechanical skills.
  • Proficient in math.
  • Ability to follow instructions and work effectively in a team environment.
