OVERVIEW:

  • Managing and optimizing the flight schedule, considering factors such as aircraft availability, crew schedules, airport slots, and regulatory requirements whilst ensuring regulatory compliance.
  • United States based role supporting our European Operations.
  • Supporting, briefing, and assisting the Flight Crew as required, to promote the safe conduct of the flight.
  • Determining the availability of aircraft and Flight Crew.
  • Ensuring that all Crew Duty Times are scheduled in accordance with the Company Approved Flight Time Limitation (FTL) Scheme.
  • Monitoring all functions within the Tactical Control Centre (TCC), as well as identifying potential problems that could cause disruption and providing solutions to minimize delays.
  • Monitoring the daily operation (e.g. demand, uncovered trips, delays).
  • Informing flight crew of changes that occur to their rosters.
  • Coordinating flight crew accommodation and transportation if required.
  • Coordinating roster changes in case of sickness or other unavailability at short notice.
  • In conjunction with CAMO, Flight Operations, and other Ground Operations staff members, maintaining an efficient efficiently allocate resources, including aircraft and crew, to meet operational demands while minimizing costs and maximizing utilization.
  • Ensure that all flight schedules comply with aviation regulations, including crew duty limits, rest requirements, and other relevant safety standards.
  • Evaluate and refine scheduling processes to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve overall operational performance.
  • Analyze historical flight data and performance metrics to identify trends, improve scheduling accuracy, and optimize future flight plans.
  • Work collaboratively with customer service teams to manage passenger expectations and address any issues related to flight schedules.
  • Assigning Crew members to aircraft and ensuring the compliance of Crew Rosters.
  • Giving due consideration to any MEL item.
  • The assessment of demand for upcoming days and providing recommendations for Crew Duty Times based on geographic factors, cabin types, and departure time demand.
  • Any other duties as assigned by the Ground Operations Manager.
  • Reports to the Senior Duty Manager

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Proven ability of problem-solving and making real-time adjustments to the schedule to address disruptions.
  • Experience maintaining rosters, resource planning, or moving people around at large volumes is desirable.
  • A working knowledge of EU-OPS Subpart Q is a
  • Proven experience using Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and a clear communication style that will enable you to ensure that crew are fully briefed for their roster and any changes.
  • The ability to work collaboratively with different teams within the aviation company.
  • Ability to adapt to evolving circumstances while maintaining schedule integrity.
  • A solid understanding of aviation regulations, including those related to crew duty limits, rest requirements, and safety standards.
