Position Summary
Assist in the adoption and purchase of our EV trucks by providing strategic and executional support to our customers by identifying and applying for federal, state, and regional grant and incentive programs. This will require someone with confidence for engagement with key customers, strong attention to detail to understand all the requirements for each incentive program, and solid computer and administrative skills to complete the majority of the application.
Position Responsibilities
- Be a key point of contact for customers for grant and incentive support.
- Analyze customer fleet lists and their deployment strategies to match their trucks with available and upcoming grant programs.
- Contact potential customers via phone/email/Teams to assist with applications.
- Guide customers through the complexities of the applications with solid knowledge of each program and its requirements.
- Maintain a database of customers and fleet details based on interactions from yourself and the Sales team.
- Develop and maintain a knowledge base of our products and how they support and improve our customers’ business.
- Be responsible for data integrity related to grants and incentives you’re involved with, in our different systems.
Position Qualifications
- Diligent follow-up skills and assertiveness so customers understand the value and have the information completed in time.
- Ability to deliver high standards of customer service (“white glove service”) and build rapport with customers/clients.
- Positive and professional demeanor on the phone, with excellent written, verbal, and presentation communication skills.
- Confidence and poise to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to prioritize and multitask – there will be many programs open simultaneously and big programs will have multiple customers requiring help at the same time.
- Ability to learn the nuances of different grant programs from the application through the deployment of the vehicle and chargers, through the post-deployment reporting requirements to guide customers every step of the way.
- Strong attention to detail and focus on accuracy with large amounts of money at stake.
- Experience with Microsoft Office products
Ideal Candidates Will Also Have
- Grant, Incentive, or Subsidy application experience
- Success in sales (inside sales or face-to-face sales environments) or business development
- Experience with CRM tools, ideally Salesforce
- Experience in Supply Chain, Warehouse, Transportation industry a plus
