We are seeking a skilled and experienced Machine Operator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating various types of machinery in our manufacturing facility. The Machine Operator will ensure that machines are set up properly, perform routine maintenance, and monitor the production process to ensure efficiency and quality. This role requires attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, and the ability to follow instructions and safety protocols.
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Set up and operate machinery according to standard operating procedures.
- Monitor machine operations to ensure products meet quality standards.
- Perform routine maintenance on machinery, such as cleaning, lubricating, and replacing parts.
- Troubleshoot and resolve basic mechanical issues as they arise during production.
- Inspect finished products for defects and ensure they meet specifications.
- Maintain accurate production records and reports.
- Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production goals.
- Participate in training sessions and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance skills and knowledge.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience as a Machine Operator or similar role in a manufacturing environment.
- Familiarity with operating and maintaining various types of machinery.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and blueprints.
- Attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Willingness to work flexible hours and overtime as needed.
- Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy objects and stand for extended periods.
