Summary 

The Inventory clerk responsibilities will be to manage the inventory control system, maintain product data, rectify miscalculations, review and analyze the results of operations, report findings to management and make recommendations for improvement as necessary. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Verify type and quantity of items received into the warehouse matches paperwork.
  • Inspect, photograph and input damaged flowers and arrangement boxes on vendor credit sheets.
  • Deduct damages in system under cycle count adjustment.
  • Check WMS for quantities and proper locations when requested by Designers.
  • Receive items into WMS ensuring location is correct.
  • In the WMS use Bin Transfer and Inventory Movements to correct items located in the wrong location.
  • Perform daily cycle counts of both flower room and warehouse culminating in a complete wall to wall inventory every two weeks. 
  • Enter daily cycle count adjustments into WMS system.
  • Safely use material handling equipment to execute cycle counts.
  • Perform rapid counts of raw material and consumables requested throughout the day from material buyers.
  • Assist Runners as needed
  • Assist Warehouse as needed
  • Work with warehouse and flower room staff to keep track of locations for all inventoried items.
  • Abide by facility rules and state laws and regulations.
  • Ensuring proper safety equipment is always worn.
  • Scanning in and out of the facility on time
  • All other reasonable duties assigned.
