Accounting Clerk

We have a client that is looking for an Accounting Clerk for their construction office in Justice, Illinois  This is a great opportunity for an individual to build a stronger, more sustainable future and cultivate your career.   

The Accounting Clerk will timely and accurately process documents related to Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable. Perform office tasks that allow for smooth workflow through the company. Provide Backup support for other accounting functions during periods of heavy volume. Following an accepted job offer a drug screen and physical, confidentiality agreement, and background check apply.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Routine Construction Accounting work including
  • Accounts Receivable duties
    • AIA and Progress billings
    • Change Order billings
    • Monthly statements
    • Project waivers
    • Collection calls
  • Accounts Payable duties
    • Verify PO’s
    • Collect/match receipts to transactions
    • Prepare Vendor payments
    • Collect Material Lien Waivers
  • Prepare monthly reports
  • Certified Payroll
• Receive and Process Mail and UPS
• Provide Interoffice Support and General Clerical Work
  • Order office supplies
  • Process outbound UPS
  • Assemble, Sort, and Tabulate Data
  • Verify claims, process orders

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree, preferred
• Thorough working knowledge of Microsoft Office – specifically Excel and Word
• Textura and Procore Software experience
• 3 years’ Accounting Experience, Construction specific preferred
• Notary Public status
  
• Reliable transportation and ability to commute to Justice, IL 60458
