Position: QA Specialist
Location: Remote Role
Duration: 1 year

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled QA Specialist with a strong background in automation testing to join our IT team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 4 years of hands-on experience in automation testing, preferably with Selenium and Python, although Selenium with Java is also acceptable. This role requires the candidate to be a US citizen and to overlap with Indian Standard Time (IST) from 5:30 pm.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Define and implement IT quality assurance practices and procedures.
  • Perform automation testing using Selenium with Python or Java.
  • Test, evaluate, and validate IT initiatives and identify issues in software or services.
  • Analyze discrepancies in service or performance and make recommendations for product or service updates.
  • Collaborate with a team of quality assurance analysts or lead the team in testing processes.
  • Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
  • Ensure all software and systems meet the highest standards of quality before release.
  • Document and track defects and ensure timely resolution.
  • Provide feedback and recommendations to developers and other stakeholders.
  • Stay updated with the latest industry trends and best practices in QA and automation testing.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
  • Minimum of 4 years of hands-on experience in automation testing.
  • Proficiency in Selenium with Python; Selenium with Java is also acceptable.
  • Strong understanding of QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
  • Experience with performance and/or security testing is a plus.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • US citizenship is required.
  • Availability to overlap with IST from 5:30 pm.
