We are New England’s leading commercial/industrial heating contractor and we are expanding  Our organization has been servicing customers for almost 70 years mainly in Eastern Massachusetts.  We are looking for an experienced Sales Engineer to join our team who has the drive and enthusiasm to support our goals and ideals in a controlled growth environment. Position requirements:


  • Generate and follow up on sales leads.
  • Effectively communicate and influence key decision makers and engineers.
  • Provide existing and future customers with technical expertise in writing, and at times as a presentation, customized to an approach that matches the customer's knowledge base and experience.
  • Ability to understand and resolve boiler room equipment problems.
  • Estimate and quote projects.
  • Perform engineering and design with new project orders.
  • Team with the Purchasing Department to ensure project materials meet quoted specifications and budget.
  • Monitor a project's progress and communicate status to customer.

Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree. Mechanical Engineering degree is preferred
  • Experience with commercial heating and boiler control systems required
  • Experience with steam and hot water required
  • 5-7 years of industry experience preferred
  • Excellent problem-solving and interpersonal communication skills
