We are recruiting for a part-time Home Health Services Director (HHSD) to lead the CHAP and Medicare credentialing process. This flexible role involves supervising 1-2 PRN nurses, assisting with skilled and Medicare surveys, and performing PRN fieldwork, which will be paid at a higher rate and according to your schedule and availability. While most leadership meetings are via Zoom, occasional visits to the Mesa office are required for medical supply pickups, interviews, and procedure updates. As a Home Health Services Director/RN, here’s a big-picture view of what you’ll do:

  • Oversee the delivery of clinical and caregiver services, ensuring the highest quality of patient/client care in accordance with home health laws and regulatory standards
  • Coordinate and manage a team of nurses, therapists, CNAs, aides and social workers to ensure client and patient goals are met
  • Recruit, hire, orient, train, supervise and retain qualified clinicians and caregivers
  • Ensure medical supplies/equipment are delivered and staff are trained on care procedures
  • Assess patient/client needs, resolve issues, and ensure a high level of satisfaction
  • Effectively manage financial resources related to the delivery of quality patient/client care

A few must-haves for a Home Health Services Director/RN:

  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program and active RN or BSN license in Arizona
  • Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in home healthcare
  • Extensive knowledge or willing to learn state and federal home health laws and regulatory standards
  • Excellent management, organizational, problem-solving, communication and interpersonal skills
