Surgery Scheduler

Celebration Health & Wellness is seeking a full-time Medical Surgery Scheduler to join our skilled and caring healthcare team.

About Us:

A high volume multiple provider private practice dedicated to Women’s and Children's Health. The staff offers over 25 years of experience in the medical field.

JOB SUMMARY: Position requires utilization of clinical knowledge to schedule appropriate procedures/surgeries per physician's orders. The Surgical Scheduler must schedule office based and hospital procedures consistent with the patient’s diagnosis and procedure request. Requires excellent customer service skills with patients, employees, and the public. The Surgical Scheduler must be able to respond to both written and oral correspondence regarding scheduling changes/cancellations in a timely, accurate manner. Individual must be organized, and be able to manage demanding workload with accuracy.

The responsibilities of this position include but are not limited to:

- Must demonstrate consistent professional conduct and meticulous attention to detail.

- Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills as well as interpersonal skills with patients, staff, and other healthcare professionals. Bilingual abilities a plus

- Billing and Coding certifications (preferred)

- Critical thinking skills and a positive attitude essential.

- Good knowledge of obstetrics and gynecology

- EMR experience

- Excellent customer service skills

- Ability to work as a team player in a positive work environment

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

- Ability to pay attention to detail

Previous medical office experience, and knowledge of electronic medical records are preferred but not required for the right candidate.
