Responsibilities:

  • Perform high-quality body repairs on all makes and models of vehicles in accordance with industry standards and factory specifications.
  • Disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicle bodies and frames, including straightening bent bodies, removing dents, and replacing damaged parts that cannot be repaired.
  • Use hand tools and specialized equipment, such as pneumatic hammers, to fabricate, fit, and attach replacement parts into place.
  • Sand, buff, and prime refurbished and repaired surfaces, applying paint as required.
  • Coordinate with the parts department to order replacement parts as needed, ensuring the correct parts are received and installed.
  • Conduct thorough inspections of vehicle structures and identify additional repairs needed, communicating findings to the management and customer service teams.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, complying with all safety and environmental guidelines.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, techniques, and certifications to enhance skills and service offerings.

Qualifications:

  • 0-5 years of experience as a Body Technician in a professional automotive repair setting.
  • Strong knowledge of vehicle repair techniques and tools.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training or certifications in auto body repair is a plus.
  • Must have a valid driver's license.

Full-Time: Monday - Friday

Shift: 1st shift

  • 1st shift- 6:00AM - 2:30PM
  • 2nd Shift- 2:00PM - 10:30PM
  • 3rd Shift- 10:00PM - 6:30AM

Job Type: Full-time
