Great Bay Community College is seeking qualified applicants who are interested in adjunct teaching at the College on a course-by-course basis; strong academic background is required.

Semester: Summer 2024

Adjunct Faculty: Social Science Department

The instructor will be responsible for helping to prepare and to teach a 10-week HyFlex course: Introduction to Psychology. HyFlex at Great Bay means the instructor is in person, with the students opting for in person or Zoom attendance. The instructor should be familiar with and experienced teaching in Canvas. The course runs May 20 - August 3.

Course: PSYC110G: Introduction to Psychology (1 section) Course time: Tuesdays, 5-6.50pm

Adjunct appointments are temporary, for a specified contract period and may require in classroom or online instruction.

Adjunct Faculty:

Pay Rate is $750 - $900 per credit. The credit rate will be determined by the appointed adjunct faculty rank, which is based on education and industry and/or teaching experience.

The minimum qualifications for your position are as follows:

Education: Minimum: Master’s degree from a recognized college or university is preferred.

Experience: Four (4) years of teaching and/or experience in the classroom.
